Today I went to the Ilford Exchange, which has been refurbished and looks beautifully
Christmassy with white and mauve lights, fir trees and decorations. It adds to the
atmosphere. People looked light-hearted and cheerful, not a worry in the world.
It is true, in the peoples' hearts, that everything will be okay. We all fully counting
on the politicians eventually to get their acts right.
I bought a purse from a Chinese lady who runs a stall there. She is from Beijing.
I told her the Chinese have what the people here need, we all need their help.
She cheerfully wished me a Happy Evening.
I feel very optimistic, the leaders of these gracious people will help Mme Merkel
and President Sarkozy.
