I was at the Ilford Chapel of the Latter Day Saints this morning, Christmas Day.
It is a great family church, with lots of children around. The atmosphere was
cheerful as usual.
It is a church with great paintings depicting Christ, The Son of God, being
baptised in a river somewhere in Israel 2,000 years ago.
A painting of a woman parishoner receiving benediction from Jesus.
Today there were hymns, followed by readings from the Bible and from
the Book of Mormons.
The final reading was the Benediction, given by one of the parishoners.
She read some words, and it all made sense.
"We thank Thee for the love we share".
