Last night, my feet were swollen. Ghastly.
I have diabetes, so I felt quite concerned.
But I haven't eaten any sweet things - except for a few biscuits - nor
any alcohol (in promise to my Latter Day Saints friends).
What should I do?
Then I remembered the nurse's advice few years ago.
Put some talcum powder between the toes.
Rub a cooling gel - applying to legs and massaging upwards.
And have a good rest.
That's what I did.
But before that, I sat in an armchair and put my legs up on a
chair. I have read somewhere that diabetics should elevate their
legs for 20-30 minutes every day.
Did all this work?
Yes! In the morning the swelling had nearly gone, I could feel
the bones of my feet. I feel glad.
I thought I'll share this with you.
