The stock markets are up today, and so they should be. The Manufacturing Indexes are up in India, China, Germany, everywhere, including U.K. I hope and pray that the worldwide economic Recovery will actually materialize and delight us all.
The Bombay Sensex and Nifty are also up, having almost bottomed. It is a strong economy, so the stockmarket ought to reflect that. When bank interest is less
than yield on blue chip stocks, then the market will probably see more investment.
But on fundamentals alone, the Mumbai market is very very robust, with huge potential.
Some more reforms to help the poor will definitely help everything move up.
Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi's announcement that the poor will be given 7 kilos
of rice and lentil per month at a basic cost will ensure much satisfaction from hunger.
God, who is also our Heavenly Mother, overlooks us all, happy when we tend our own
back-gardens and cultivate all that Nature has granted us.
