The E.C.B. seems to have had ample funds deposited with them overnight most days this week. It seems they are going to do several things with the funds.
Recapitalise some of the banks....Buy up the bonds to bring down the yields....
Put some money into banks and into commerce and industry, and thereby into
creation of wealth. Probably a combination of the three.
I would guess that a plan in sketch will emanate once the German and French leaders meet on Monday. Maybe it will take about a month or so, judging by past events,
for everything to take shape.
I feel that the wherewithal for continuing a recovery in Europe and the Eurozone is already there, namely the U.S. Discount Window funds. It only remains for the political will to express itself, for everything to start improving quite soon.
