The tax rebates which most working people have been receiving for the past 12 months in the U.S. are due to stop at the end of this month, unless Congress does something about it.
It is hoped the bi-partisan co-operation on this issue will weigh in this time also. After all, everybody wishes job-creation to continue, and tax-payers to be happy.
It makes sound sense for people to hold onto more of their earnings, especially at the lower to mid income levels.
As for the very high earners, if they pay a bit more tax, it makes emminent sense. People with bigger disposable incomes help the economy and the people by paying a little more taxation, and a lot of them would probably be happy to do so, knowing it is in a good cause.
If Europe starts to follow suit, and implement some of the growth measures the U.S. has put in place, it may help to complement a worldwide economic Recovery.
When a billionaire buys ships and freight rates are moving up, it seems a good indication the economy worldwide has turned for the better, for that I pray.
