The German Chancellor graciously took a shower of five glasses of Pilsner, and then toasted the agreement on the Greek bailout agreed by the Bundestag. Mme Merkel has set a good, positive tone for "help as a friend and not to impose" to Greece, and this of course augers very well for Europe as a close-knit European Union.
As the banks begin to borrow from the ECB and lend out to commercial customers, businesses who need working capital could start to do well. Money is the life-blood of the economy, and as money flows and swirls, so does commerce and industry.
In tune with changing business environment, Europe's banks have to become like American, lending to entprepreneurs, with regard to working a good idea and becoming wealth creators, as well as generating livelihoods and creating jobs.
Banks must take the courage to lend, and it will give entrepreneurs and businesspeople confidence to borrow and work good ideas into powerhouses of wealth creation.
