The U.K. property market seems to be heading downwards for the moment, with anecdotal evidence suggesting a lot of houses are down by about 15 percent compared to two years ago, in greater London at least, excluding some of the very select localities.
A lot of housing has been built in time for the 2012 Olympics in London. The Westfiled shopping centre and office buildings complex is an admirable piece of work. The vast majority of projects have been completed on or before schedule.
It is the secure and welcoming spirit of London that will welcome more visitors, as always before, some to invest, some to stay here as well.
Upto 35,000 troops will be deployed through London at the time of the Olympics in July and August, and they are rehearsing their deployment exercises, which adds to the trhill of being in London, around the tourist attractions, bridges and canals.
As the weather warms up, more and more tourists will be coming to London, for the pomp and pageantary for Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.
