I just imagine the heat-maps of happiness as so many jobs are being created in the U.S.
(something like 237,000 for February). This is good momentum. It's a ratio of 1:1 or better on January.
Brian Moynihan of Bank of America says they are modifying mortgages and helping as many houseowners as possible with reduction in capital payments. That is to say, the principal is being written downwards on homes that were deep under water. This must be a great relief for so many families. As people feel happier when they have less pressure, it can only add to the well-being of people and communities, and help people celebrate life and living. As people prosper, so will the Bank of America.
In Greece, the debt swap seems to have been finalised. The debt forgiveness will take a huge weight off the Greek people, and the bailout will in course of history be seen as the gesture that saved the European Union. Perhaps some investment of say 2.5 Billion Euros every three months into the Greek economy at low interest rates would give them the life-line to rejuvenate their economy. Europe is all flowers in the same bouquet, and the Greeks too should be given reason to smile and bloom. Happily they will revive their economy once more.
I imagine the spirit of Byron sipping retsina or ouzo, and dancing for the Hellenic nation.
