"A spirit of neighbourliness" is the unifying theme of Her Majesty in this her Diamond Jubilee, a reign of sixty years so far which has brought continual stability and progress to Great Britain.
A stained glass window is her peoples' gift to her, unveiled today at Westminster, where the Speaker David Bercow made a magisterial speech, sincere and affectionate, resonating with sentiments which the nation holds towards the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
"The contact between nations is the contact between their people", are inspiring words of Her Majesty, who is very highly regarded throughout the Commonwealth as a leader of great willpower and attention to duty.
The Queen of a happy, multi-cultural nation, who brings a sense of jamboree where-ever she visits. Her royal wave must have brought joy to everybody. Long may Her reign continue.
