What gives central bankers grounds for optimism that the Recovery will continue to flourish? That is the question Charlie Rose cheerfully posed to the invited bankers at the IMF, which he co-hosted with Mme Christine Lagarde.
Sweden : The triple A. Africa, which has grown 6-7 percent over the last decade and is likely to continue to grow at that pace....Asia, which is growing at a good pace, and with young populations still has more scope...Americas, where the economies are starting to motor.
Mexico : Affinity... of America and Mexico. The growth in U.S. catches on in South and Central America.
India : The hope in the eyes of the vast young population of India, to which Indian policy makers have to cater. Huge growth potential.
The IMF has been promised support of $430 Billion to date, and with the huge growth potential all over the world, more could be done.
May Recovery continue to flourish, I pray, to bring additional schools, hospitals, jobs, livelihoods, fun, happiness, heatmaps of happiness....worldwide!
