Today is an important day, for many occassions. There's the Trooping of the Colours, when Her Majesty salutes the Forces on her official birthday Wish you Very Many Happy Returns, Ma'am.
In Birmingham, Russell Brand will be having a tet-a-tet with the Dalai Lama, which should be an enlightening event. The Living Spirit of the Buddha is truely a Sage, propagating Peace and Understanding. I am sure he will be warmly welcomed in England, where all freedoms are so enshrined and respected, a great multi-cultural nation which is truely the centre of the Commonwealth, again a tribute to Her Majesty's dedication to her role as Head of the Commonwealth.
In Oslo, it will be a great ceremony when Aung Sang Suu Kyi receives her Noble Peace medal. This Eternal Spirit of Freedom and champion of democracy will in due time be allowed to assume her rightful post of Prime Minister of Myanmar, under the aegis and support of the Burmese military commanders, who are Buddhists by character and can only help develop their country further by implementing this democratic privilege. For that I pray.
