"The moral definition of gratitude comes from the heart," thus Sister Christina Onaolapo gave her testimony today at the Church of Latter-Day Saints, Ilford.
Christina is the Bishop's daughter, a blessed family from Nigeria, who all welcome the congregation and have made the Ilford Ward one of the most successful wards in the Church in England.
"We should always have thanksgiving in our hearts, and count our blessings one by one. If I start to count mine, we shall all be here till tomorrow morning," she continued. Obviously she has many blessings to count, a Father who's an Administrator at the General Hospital as well as being the Bishop, a Mother who is a cheerful, very hard-working SRN, an elder sister who is a Forensic Scientist, and a younger brother who was today ordained as Priest in the Church and who always passes the Sacrament.
This is a blessed family who works hard, but still gives their time happily to the Church, which is without any pay but that of God's blessings.
This is a highly blessed family, who eat, drink, live and breathe by the Bible and its companion, the Book of Mormon.
"And those of receive in thankfulness, more shall be added unto you." These are our Saviour's words. Read by Sister Christina, you feel the authenticity of these words, recorded many, many years ago, as true today as they were then.
In the name of our Loving Father, Saviour, God, Loving Heart, Jesus the Christ.
