Hi Everybody, I have just returned from a visit to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I had a great time, attending a funky Halloween Party at Chateau Marmont in the Sunset Strip, visiting The W which has a breathtaking view of Los Angeles and a swimming pool for people to make a sensation in, and visiting the famous Mr C, known as Cipriani's. It is justly famous for its elegant decor with a piano bar and real fireplaces, and food that was truely delicious, soft crisp breads, and tagliatalle set in buffalo mazorella.
Delicious. Dining at Mr C is a memorable experience.
Upon my return, I note a lot of visitors to my blog from Washington and Beijing. Those who wish to know my opinion, I would say that it should auger well for the U.S. that President Obama has been re-elected, and the Republicans have realised that the world has changed and the population is happy to have affordable medical care and the social security net in hard times. New Jersey and New Hampshire voting Democrat is an indication of the new reaility Should jobs be created, most American people seem enthusiastic and hard-working and can certainly keep the economy growing.
Republican House Leader John Boehner has pledged support from his side of the aisle for the President's plans, and the charming Mr Romney is almost like a surrogate President. He will be invited by Mr Obama to share his ideas on job creation and it seems that in the national cause, both sides of the House will help implement policies which will accelerate growth which is what the American people need and can achieve. The whole country seems to be rarin' to go.
There is a growing realisation in America that co-operation and joint effort in the cause of a goodwill and continued strenghtening of the economy is what is needed, and the reds and the blues will all pull together to create the prosperity that seems their ideal, the American dream.
In a land of enterprise and opportunity, such things are possible, and it seems America will now experience accelerated growth.
It is good to be sharing my impressions with you again.
