A terribly sad picture, people who had homes just four months ago, now asleep
in doorways in Greece, a sorry sight carrying their blankets in the daytime,
searching for food....That is what has happened within a matter of a few months,
no thanks to the absurdly high interest the Greek nation is having to pay on
God bless those people sleeping rough. May people who are able to help, see
what has happened. May God guide all of us to see....
Collectively, through using our collective wisdom and following humanitarian
policies, maybe, hopefully, we can all create an economic environment in
which common sense prevails.
Thou shalt be thy brothers' keepers....It says in the Bible.
These are our brothers and sisters, sleeping rough, marred by the same
They need our urgent help.
European governments must communicate and formulate policies which can
help such people,and agree with creditors to show utmost kindness and
reduce the punitive payments on debt.
Within 4 months, 20,000 people sleeping in doorways, in Greece.
Through humane policies, such sad sad pictures can be avoided.
