Today it seems like a lot of people from Yoshkar-ola have read my blog, I am
delighted to note, as I am to note visits by all from Byfleet and Beverley Hills!
I worked as a Market Research interviewer for 12-and-a-half years, and I must have
interviewed about eleven thousand people. I visited a lot of houses.
One house I visited, the gentleman poured me a cup of tea from a gilded
maroon teapot, which sat on a silver tea service (EPNS it may have been).
That made my day.
By contrast, lot of people I visited used the normal everyday crockery to
serve tea. They seemed to keep the gilded dinner sets in the sideboard,
as if reserved for a special occassion. Baking a cake? The Second Coming
It occurs to me that people should use the crockery sets for Christmas
dinner, and then put it into everyday use. When you treat yourself like
Royalty, God can possibly add to your riches.
Just a thought.
