Why are the television stations regularly putting on their tickers, EU on a downgrade watch,
you could be next.....!
If economies are having to impose deficit cuts, then of course in all probability the GDP will
contract, and the ratings agencies will be able to justify their predication.
It almost makes people superstitious, as if some Death Watch Beetle is watching you.
That is not good for the economic psyche of any nation.
Perhaps instead the political leaders ought to be saying what measures they are putting
in place to avert such a scenario.
There has been so much positive news coming from the U.S. economy.
If the world continues to place orders with China, their factories too will be happy to keep
working away. China is of course the workshop of the world, in that sense it is like Britain
at one time, only much much bigger.
As Russia steps up to aid the European Union, it is very likely that trade will grow,
and provided the mature economies help Africa and Asia to harness and build all
they are capable of, then the world will thrive and prosper.
Please, let's not be superstitious of the ratings agencies.
