A tropical storm in Mindanao, Phillipines, last week, has left 850 dead and 35,000 displaced from their homes,which have been washed away, so effectively 35,000 people homeless.

This is almost a regular occurence, it happens almost every year.
If a place needs to build good, solid housing, this is it.
If somewhere they need good, hard-working people, they are here,
If there be a plan to build solid housing in all these places which are hit by tropical storms and typhoons each year, maybe we'll see fewer of such disasters each year.
