The Bank of England has added another £50 Billion to their credit boosting programme today, just as banks in Europe are waiting for capital from the ECB to bolster their lending, and the Federal Reserve continues its policies to help the US economy.
The Bank of Japan regularly doing their QE have done an excellent job to shore up the capital reserves of the region; but maybe a slight tightening would help their own cause.
From my own reading, the whole world is set for positive growth this year, if the OPEC countries can put a cieling of $85 a barrel (at which level most of their projects will be well funded) and the other oil and gas producing countries could also put in reasonable cielings.
Iran is said to have suffered a 60 percent devaluation in their currency, and has a high unemployment rate as well as high inflation. Their nuclear capability is a good many years away. This is according to Prince Waleed bin Talaal, as well as Russian TV.
A peaceful understanding by Israel would help the whole region maintain stability and peace, and in that everything can continue as normal and all nations can continue to grow and prosper. I pray to God for that.
