The US economy created 245,000 new jobs in January, according to the Labour Dept. This shows the jobs momentum is gathering pace.
Also I heard that the US has put record acreage under growing Corn - this must be fantastic news as it can both feed and provide biodiesel.
I don't know the details, but it seems the bi-partisan co-operation over measures to create more jobs, such as by continuing the tax breaks, will continue.
All this augers well for the US economy.
I have said in a previous blog that I see the Dow Jones Industrial Average heading for the magic of Fifteen Thousand. It could very well happen. I see it going to Thirteen Thousand first, possibly in next two-three weeks. (Everyone takes risk at their own account, I am just giving my opinion).
But the thing that most enthuses me at the moment is what I read in the Mormon literature - namely, that the Second Coming of Christ will be in America, where a Temple will be built in Missouri for the Christ.
Palmyra in Wayne County, New York, is sacred ground, where the blessed young Joseph Smith received the Fist Vision of God and His Son. As more and more pilgrims visit that site, miracles will start to happen in America. People will get cured of illnesses, and an abiding love will take up its place in their hearts. I have no feeling of doubt. What say you? Happy Valentines!
