Yesterday saw two baptisms at the Ilford chapel of Latter-Day Saints.
Both were friends from India, Ghansham Bhardwaj and Rajinder Kumar.
I say Congrats! to both Sham and Raj. Baptism means to be born-again, and become the bearer of the Light through Christ and our Heavenly Father.
My heart felt glad at my own baptism last month, and today I was ordained a Priest in the Church of Latter-Day Saints. I feel much honoured. My peers had observed me take part in discussions on God, Christ and spirituality, and were favourably impressed by my answers, and suggested me for the Priesthood. It is an Aaronic Preiesthood, meaning I am in the first year of this office. I look forward to learning more, and being of service to people in our local community, and hopefully visit Utah one day in the not-too-distant future.
I pray fervently that we all be blessed with the Second Coming during our lifetimes.
